Advanced Case-Based Strategies to Integrate Recent Progress in the Management of PsA
Activity Summary:
The management of Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) remains challenging, owing to variable clinical presentations and ever-changing therapeutic options. Optimizing outcomes for PsA is dependent upon the early identifying patients, developing a personalized treatment strategy, and cohesively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address issues related to the challenges of diagnosis and access to appropriate therapy. Furthermore, research in PsA has evolved in recent years to reflect changes in the current disease landscape, study population, new management strategies, advanced recommendations on assessing patients’ overall disease activity and responses to treatment, healthcare providers’ and patients’ treatment expectations, and regulatory requirements. Understanding these can help guide clinical decision-making and improve outcomes for patients with PsA.
Talking PsA is an accredited AMA/ANCC/ACPE activity that highlights the very latest clinical data and is designed to optimize treatment strategies in PsA through a series of four patient case studies. The content and clinical cases were developed and presented by leading Rheumatology and Dermatology experts in PsA.
