Clinical PAH Challenges: Understanding the Impact and Management of Cardiovascular Comorbidities - Updated 11/4/2024
AMA/ANCC/ACPE Activity - Lecture Library Slide Set
Recent data suggests that PAH is now frequently diagnosed in older patients who often present with cardiovascular (CV) comorbidities. Many patients present with CV comorbidities that are uncontrolled, creating a management dilemma for the treating physician. This slide set presents two case studies discussing the clinical approach as well as how to control comorbidities and their impact on the pulmonary circulation with the best treatment approach for this population.
